  • Trade Ally Program

Developed at Tri-State, our on-demand training program incentivizes contractors to install heat pumps. Along with EVs, air-source heat pumps represent the best opportunity for member systems to grow load within their service area. The Trade Ally Program can turn HVAC installers into frontline salespeople and build on consumer education efforts.

  • Efficiency Assessments

Agricultural producers and business owners have access to assessments that identify low and no cost measures to improve irrigation coverage and/or increase energy efficiency. If your business, farm or ranch is located in our service territory, we’ll help connect you with qualified assessors, apply for federal funding, offer rebates for equipment, and offer low-interest financing to implement these efficiency upgrades. Together with our members, we’re helping end consumers decrease energy spend and water loss.

  • Demand Response

We’re working with our members to make the grid stronger and more reliable. Through our Demand Response program, we can lower risks from extreme weather, reduce costly upgrades, and keep peak electricity prices down. By enrolling grid-enabled devices like irrigation pivots, smart thermostats, batteries, and HVAC systems, we can manage energy demand and improve flexibility. Together, we’re creating savings and value for everyone — and participants receive incentives as part of their enrollment.

EV Infrastructure Funding

We’ve supported over 1,000 public and residential EV charger installs. We provide up to $45,000 per member system and members can choose both the equipment and vendors, and we will reimburse for equipment and implementation costs. Additionally we have a fleet of EVs we loan out for members and end consumers to test drive, and we partner with ChooseEv.com to give our members EV education support on their websites.

Small Business Programs

Since 1985 Tri-State has been fine tuning our rebates to support what consumers actually need while improving load shapes or load growth. From whole house fans to irrigation motors, we’ve got you covered at home and in the field. Combined with state and federal efficiency rebates, including income qualified rebates, you have the opportunity to make a real difference in your consumers’ quality of life and improve load factor.

On-Bill Repayment Program

We’re increasing our members’ access to energy efficient technologies and upgrades for both residential and commercial end consumers. Our On-Bill Repayment Program addresses gaps in loan availability so homeowners, businesses and agricultural producers can make clean energy improvements. We’re empowering consumers to reduce their emissions and energy costs.
